The Embassy of Pakistan in Jakarta is seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Trade and Investment Section. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international trade, diplomacy and economic affairs. The selected intern will assist in various tasks related to trade promotion, market research and bilateral trade initiatives.


Responsibility:

• Conduct research on Indonesian markets, trade policies and economic trends to identify opportunity for Pakistani exports.
• Assist in organizing trade events, exhibitions and B2B meeting to promote Pakistani products and services in Indonesia.
• Analyze trade data and prepare reports on trade statistics, import/export trends and sectoral analysis.
• Provide administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations and drafting correspondence.
• Contribute to the Embassy’s social media efforts to promote activities and success stories.

Qualification:

• Currently pursuing a degree in International Relations, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellence written and verbal skills in English; Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Interest in International trade, diplomacy and economic development.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
