Documents Required for NOC for Marriage with Indonesian National
- 1) The bridegroom has to provide
- Original willingness letter (personal statement)
- Affidavit from his father confirming the groom's unmarried status and authorization for marriage with an Indonesian girl with name of girl mentioned on the affidavit attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad or Camp Offices in Provincial Capitals. In case of the death of the father, an affidavit from the mother will be required along with the death certificate of the father (attested by MOFA). In case both the parents have passed away, a death certificate of both parents (attested by MOFA) and an affidavit from the elder sibling (if any) will be required (attested by MOFA).
- CNIC of Parents or Family Certificate.
- Original and Photocopy of CNIC/NICOP, valid Pakistani Passport and Indonesian visa / stay permit.
- Police Character Certificate (attested by MOFA)
- In case of first marriage, a certificate from the union council that a Pakistani citizen is unmarried in their record. The certificate has to be duly attested by MOFA.
- In case of second marriage, permission letter/Affidavit from his first wife and Marriage certificate attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs would also be needed OR original and copy of Divorce certificate OR Death Certificate of previous/ late wife (attested by MOFA).
- 2) The bride has to provide:
- The original willingness letter (statement letter) of the girl Notarised by the Notary Public in the city of the Girl (as mentioned on her NIK) along with Apostille by Kementerian Hukum dan HAM (Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia) that she intends to marry without force with Pakistani man and will not come to the Embassy in case of any dispute between them. - The Original willingness letter (permission letter) of the parents Notarised by the Notary Public in the city of the Girl (as mentioned on her NIK) that they allow their daughter to be married with the Pakistani man along with an Apostille by Kementerian Hukum dan HAM (Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia). In case the parent(s) of the girl passed away, original and copy of the Death Certificate would be needed and the same affidavit from the elder sibling will be required (Apostille by Kementerian Hukum dan HAM).
- Family registration card or Kartu Keluarga and NIK of parents.
- SKCK (Police Character Certificate)
- Identity Card of girl.
- Original and copy of Surat Keterangan Untuk Nikah issued by Rt. Rw, Kelurahan dan KUA (Form N1). (NOC for Nikah from the relevant Regional Nikah Office in Indonesia).
- In case of second marriage, original and copy of Divorce certificate or Death Certificate of previous/ late husband. (both along with Apostille by Kementerian Hukum dan HAM (Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia))
- 3) The presence of the groom and the bride are compulsory.
- The Embassy reserves the right to request the presence of the bride's parents for an interview, should it be deemed necessary, prior to the issuance of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for marriage. This step may be taken in accordance with the Embassy's procedures to ensure all relevant details are appropriately verified.
- Maximum validity of affidavit from parents or wife / unmarried certificate/ permission letter from girl’s parents is 04 months. Documents issued before 04 months from the date of applying in the embassy will not be accepted.
