Ambassador of Pakistan, H.E. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, attended the Pakistan–Indonesia Business Council Board Meeting at @kadin_indonesia today.
The Ambassador appreciated the revival of this important forum to further strengthen economic ties between the two brotherly nations. He highlighted complementarities in the textile sectors of both countries and emphasized the need to expand cooperation in IT, defense, health, sports goods, food processing, tourism, and education.
Ambassador Chaudhri underlined Pakistan’s immense potential for Indonesian investors, noting that Pakistan hosts the 2nd largest salt reserves, ranks 7th in global meat production, produces 20,000 IT graduates annually, and is home to a dynamic 240 million population—one of the largest English-speaking and youth-driven markets in the world.
Together, Pakistan and Indonesia can unlock new opportunities for trade, investment, and sustainable growth.
